During the duration of the Halloween mini project we were able to complete and decorate our bubbling cauldron. I think what went well was that we were able to use our time wisely and throughout class we were able to see progress in the time allotted. We also divided tasks so that each group member was able to work on different tasks. Another thing that went well is that when there were questions, a group member could answer. For example, when we weren't sure whether the follower was the right size. We measured and found a better size to go with to reprint.

I think what could have gone better was communicating ideas and possible solutions. For example, in early designs we wondered if we wanted to add a witch that would circle the cauldron. As the due date got closer, we decided against it but the next day a group member came in with ideas for the witch. Then we had to discuss the time frame and how that would work. In the end, we decided not to go with the witch but we we didn't spend our time wisely that day.

A piece of advice I want to give my future self during the "year long capstone project" would be to use the time allotted wisely and to make sure to follow the dates set by ourselves to not fall behind. Another piece of advice is to do plenty of research and trials and error before making final decisions.
